MRI results Jan 23, 2018
Poor Abby had a rough day today. They always have a tough time finding her veins and today was no different. Took 2 hours to place her iv but she was so brave. They also did not put the numbing cream on for her because it makes her veins harder to find. After a few tries they ended up sending her down to the OR to have an anesthesiologist place her iv. Got it on the first try. Then off to her MRI an hour late. Once that was done we went upstairs to get the results. We were so late that all the nurses had gone home and just the Dr. Was there. Results were ok. The tumor has not grown more since December which is good news but it has not gotten any smaller either. We were worried that the tumor may have continued to grow at the same rate it had from Sept-Dec so no growth is good news! Abby has been extra exhausted the last few weeks.
