School and Fatigue
Abby working on Science class Abby has been dealing with the effects of the tumour, cysts and radiation over the past few weeks. She is such a positive young lady through the many changes going on right now. The results of her hearing test were good. She has not lost any hearing ability, and the truth is she is the only child of ours that answers when we call downstairs, so maybe we should get the others tested as well. While Abby's hearing is good, she has dropped out of band class at school as the noise levels, combined with blowing into the clarinet, was just too much for her. She got a headache in the class everyday, which is a shame because she loves band. Unfortunately it added to her exhaustion. We hope once we figure out the best way to help her get her energy back up that she can take the class again. Abby has been coming home from school by noon almost everyday because of fatigue.
